Core Climbing was founded in 2008 and makes its products in its own Sheffield factory, where crash pads are hand sewn by its machinists. It holds the Made in Sheffield mark.
The Workhorse pad uses 1100-denier Cordura, reinforced double-sewn corners, bar-tacked stress points and three layers of open- and closed-cell foam. Pads run from the £60 Nucleus sit-start pad to the £400 Titan.
