Bon
A café on Glossop Road, opened in 2023, with a French-inspired brunch and lunch menu, coffee from roasters across the country, and evening supper clubs and wine tastings. It was listed in the Good Food Guide 2024 and 2025.
Broomhill
Broomhill has been a conservation area since 1977, and its Victorian streets include at least 20 listed buildings, plus work by the local architects Flockton and Abbott. The high street does good daytime cafés and an easy evening meal, with Nam Song, Bon, Napoli Centro and the newly opened Cats all here.

The bright orange Vietnamese café and restaurant on Broomhill's high street since 2017. Phin-filter coffee and bánh mì by day, phở and curries in the evening, and it roasts coffee sourced only from Asia.

'The Notty', a Broomhill pub on Whitham Road, popular with locals and university sports clubs alike. Known for homemade pies, quizzes and bands on Saturday nights, with a patio outside.
